Accommodation

The most convenient accommodation is on campus. All speakers will be offered rooms there, and participants wishing to stay there should request this on the registration form. Rooms will be available until the they are all filled (but if you request financial support please do so before 1st October 2026).

The campus rooms are "basic" hotel rooms, with private bathroom, desk, kettle for hot water, hairdryer. There is no "front desk", so people who need help have to go to the accommodation office in day time and to a security guard at night. Check-in details will be given when reservations are confirmed (the procedure may vary, depending on the building). There are eating/drinking places nearby (and breakfast is included in the room rate). Most shops and cafes on campus are "card only"; cash is not accepted.

Alternatively, hotels are available in the city of Lancaster. Details can be found, for example, at booking.com. A convenient and inexpensive hotel near the bus stop for campus buses is GO2 (a former IBIS Budget hotel).

Wifi: eduroam is available on campus, and most cafes in Lancaster have wifi.
